Pinky Ponky Cheeks!!

Being an Indian and having neither brown nor white skin is sometimes a challenge, specially here in US as most of the makeup brand make products either for extremely fair skin or dark skin. In spite of all this there are couple of companies who make products which has universal color and suits all skin type and blush is one of them.

I love blush to the core and this is the product which inspired me to create this blog and hence the name. This is one beauty product (apart from lisptick) without which I cannot live (not literally ;))

I think having a neutral skin has loads of advatnages. One can wear orange, peach, red, pink, bronze any color on your cheeks and it will look fab!!!

Here are some of my fav drugstore blushes which I wear everyday..These are cheap but work really well..

e.l.f. Blush in 'Flushed' - $1

This blush has strong pink color which looks very nice with smoky eyes and pale mouth..

Ulta Blushes in 'Shy' n 'Bashful'- $3-$7


Shy is a pretty soft baby pink color and 'Bashful' is a peachy corally color, both of these looks beautiful on warm skin tones..


Bronzer & Illuminator

e.l.f All over glow stick in 'PinkLemonade'- $1

I basically use it as a higlighter to enhance my cheeks..I wear it on my cheeks, when I am wearing black eyeliner.I swipe a little translucent power over it and this gives a sheer pink glow to my cheeks :)

Wet n Wild- MegaGlo Illuminating Powder in 'Spotlight Peach'- $3-$5

I wear this with red/Coral lips and this looks awesome!!

e.l.f. Bronzer in 'SunKissed'- $1

I wear bronzer sparingly, this is a good option if you want to experiment with bronzer and don't want to spend too much. And for $1 it's steal!!!

Tip of the day- In order to make my blush last for entire day, I use some eye primer under it and translucent powder on the top and does wonders :)
